Mr. Jonathan Ricks, MA, LPCA
Hello! Thanks for visiting the Northside Elementary School Counseling Website. I'm Jonathan Ricks and I'm very excited to be working at Northside. I am a native of Warren County and attended school here. I graduated from Warren County High in 1998. I attended East Carolina University where I earned a bachelor's degree in 2003. I taught sixth grade math at Warren County Middle School from 2003-2006. I earned a Master of Arts in School Counseling from North Carolina Central University and was a counselor at Warren County High for five years. I also attended Western Carolina University and earned a post-graduate certificate in School Administration. Most recently, I have been accepted to the PhD program in Counselor Education at North Carolina State University. I am licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I enjoy working with children and their families. School counseling is an amazing profession and I'm thankful for the opportunity to participate.
