Day of Service - March 9, 2012 Warren County High School ninth grade students visited Northside to help students with reading. Our students had a great time and learned a lot. Thanks to the WCHS students for a great job!
_Ms. Gervasio and Ms. Mushaw's Pre-K class made birthday cards to be sent to a Veteran who
resides at the NC Veterans Home in Salisbury who recently turned 100
years old. He served under General Patton in World War II.
Third grade students Joshua Henderson and Jalijah Hyman participated in the Accelerated Reader winter celebration. The program was a reward for students who met their reading goal for the second quarter. Great job!_
_Students have been learning about Louisiana and France in their music
class. They have studied the Mardi Gras tradition and its historical
roots. They recently had a pancake breakfast in class to celebrate the
historical tradition of eating pancakes before the beginning of Lent.
_Students celebrated the 100th day of
school on Friday, February 3, 2012. Students had activities in their
classes centered around the number 100. Pictured are students creating
works of art wearing their "Happy 100th Day" crowns.
